Dashboard and custom fields

Hi, we had a problem with the limited filter option in the dashboards, because we had a tech department tha register the contacts and made the proposals to the commercial dept. When a commercial whant to see their pportunitis they had no one, because of this we create a custom field in the opportunities to could filter the commercial guys opportunities, in the act reports this works fine, but in the new dashboards feature we cannot filter by this custom field. Does any body had an idea how can we solve this?

I would suggest that you would be better off to create a process for one group and a process for the second group and this you can then filter by rather than trying to do it in a field
