Customizing Contact Report

[ Edited ]

Hello,

I am running Act! Premium Version 17.2.217.0 (Windows 7)

I am trying to customize a Contact Report that allows the report to carry over the Contact's name at the top (instead of Contact Report) and instead of the little cartoon pic, I have added a Photo Field. All of my Contact's have a photo.

For some reason when I run the report, the Photo and the Contact's Name do not carry over.  Both fields have the appropriate [C: Photo] and [C: Contact] as the fields, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Any ideas or thoughts?  Thanks!

Scott

Re: Customizing Contact Report

How are you viewing the report? Preview or printing? Graphics won't show in preview. I typically print to PDF check the interim or final version of the report.

Juan Carlos,

This is awesome, thanks!  What's weird is that I am doing exactly what you're doing, but for some reason the photo is not carry over to the report.  Is your photo in a certain size or format?  Mine is a jpeg.  Also, did you edit a current report and save it as a a new report, or did you create a new report entirely? Curious as to why the reports are not carry the photo over, strange.

Thanks!

Yes!  That fixes it!  However the photo is huge.  Is there a way to limit the size of the photo?

Re: Customizing Contact Report

Size the box and in properties choose zoom.

Re: Customizing Contact Report

It's not saving "zoom" it keeps defaulting to "Left Top."
