Custom reports.

Hello to you all.

I am newish to ACT and I need to create some custom reports, I am looking for a good guide to help me do this. I want to be able to only report on 1 product in opportunities. I know its very vague but I think if I have a guide or template I can use I will pick this up.

Re: Custom reports.

Have you had a look at the Opportunities by Product report? It's in the standard report directory. This lists opportunities grouped by product.

Re: Custom reports.

Do a query before running the report. Lookup -> Opportunities -> Product. In the dialogue box select the product that you want to run the report for. Alternatively, customise your coloumns in the Opportunities View after looking up the product you are interested in and then Tools -> Export to Excel.

Re: Custom reports.

They are kept inbetween ACT sessions. There is an add in for ACT that will let save / load different column settings.

Re: Custom reports.

look on www.actaddons.com

For the moment 8 user fields is the limit for Opportunities. But I think ACT 2010 as some developments in the Opportunities section, so that may change later in the year.
