Adding a Contact entity, custom tab in Act! Premium for Web (access via browser) beyond version 18.0 HF2 will inhibit the saving of the record.
The problem applies to Chrome and Internet Explorer and even with a basic custom tab without fields in it. The problem does not occur with version 18.0 HF2 but does occur in version 19.0 ( the exact version between 18.0 HF2 and version 19.0 that the problem first occurred in is unknown).
This is a problem for custom developments in later versions of Act! Premium for Web in that you are required to navigate away from the custom tab to re-establish Contact record saving.

Hi Gleo, I've asked the product team for a response - however we're in the middle of our ACC Conference Roadshows, so unfortunately the product team will be out of office attending the conferences around the world this month.

Apologies for the delay. Our development team have created a custom tab plugin to try to reproduce this, but are not seeing the same issue. They have asked if you could provide a sample plugin (both source and complied if possible) so they can investigate further?
