Crystal Reports Failed to Retrieve Data

I'm trying use CR2013 with ACT Premium 17.  CR is able to connect to my ACT database and fetch all the fields, and I'm able to create an outline of a report, however when I go to complete the report I get the following error:

"Failed to Retrieve data from the database."

Followed by these specifics:

Details: ADO Error Code: 0x0

Source: ACT! OleDb Provider For Reporting 2.0

Description: Execution of user code in the .Net Framework is disabled.  Enable "clr enabled' configuration option.

SQL State: Native Error: -2147217900 [Database Vendor Code: -2147217900]

I've followed the instructions here (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh239760.aspx) to "enable clr" however after this is enabled I simply get a much longer list of errors.

Any ideas on what I need to do to fix this issue?

Re: Crystal Reports Failed to Retrieve Data

On the Tools menu in Actdiag there is an option to enable CLR.  Have you tried that?

Re: Crystal Reports Failed to Retrieve Data

Hi Sucia,

It sounds like the error is occurring in the 3rd party software. I would suggest reaching out to Crystal Reports for assistance with this.
