Version - Premium V 22.214.171.124 HF 2
Platform - Windows 7 64
I am trying to track the changes to a specific contact field in Act!. I want to be able to run a report that will show all contacts where the value of the field changed in the last x days.
The field in question is a yes/no checkbox.
The field in question is already set to Generate History.
I am quite new to using and administering Act! I can not seem to find any logic that would only return data if the field changed.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
If there is a better method to track these changes, I am open to it.
Note that for regulatory compliance, Act! is not connected to the email system.

In v16, use the history list.
Filter the type to just field changes
Use the keyword box to limit the list to just the field name.

Essentially, that is the workaround I have used. There does not appear to be a way to actually extract the data (txt, csv, etc.)
It seems to me that a product like Act! should have more robust reporting capabilities.

Fully agree with you there. If you know some SQL, or Excel tricks you could get this data out. The ACT report writer on its own is very limited and a relic,
All of the tools you need to access the databases, write your own dashboards, etc are there but most people wouldn't be able to use them. They are there.

You could buy Stonefield Query for ACT as well.
