Corrupt Memory when attempting to print

Hi Guys

When attempting to print Reports I get:

"Attempted to read or write protected memory.  This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

ACT Premium! v10.0.1.199
Vista Ultimate (with all updates) 2gig RAM

Anyone able to help with this one please?

Rgds

Re: Corrupt Memory when attempting to print

Normally, that error can mean a coorupt .Net error, but shouldn't happen on Vista and not just for reports.

Does it happen with any report?
Can you try it in the demo database?

Re: Corrupt Memory when attempting to print

Another user has said they get this issue only wih a specific printer... if it happen in other reports and the demo database, you might check the printer manufacturer to see if there is an updated driver or, if you have another printer, give that a try

Re: Corrupt Memory when attempting to print

goto control panel. select printers and faxes
if you have more than one printer in this window, please try the steps below:

make your other printer from the list by right clicking on the printer name, select the option set as default
reopen act and check if you are able to print the report

Re: Corrupt Memory when attempting to print

Interesting.......!

Set default to one of the other printers.....

Attemped to print report on my 'normal' printer - using the printer dialog box - and it printed OK.

Now that could be a work arounf - but would rather have a solution?

Thanks

Don't think there is a resolution
you can try to update printer for your default printer
can't think of any other solution
