Copying ACT database on Server

I am trying to copy an existing ACT database to create an empty one with a different name.  I am doing this on the server and trying to copy to the C:ACT folder on that server but I am receiving the error message:   The specified location for your copy database is invalid.  A database must be copied on a drive on your machine.  Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Re: Copying ACT database on Server

That message typically relates to trying to create a database on a mapped rather than a physical drive.

That is what I would assume to, but I am trying to copy it directly to the C: drive on the server.

Re: Copying ACT database on Server

this is off the wall but did you browse to the C: folder through network places?
