We are using Act! V19.2.
My colleague is randomly experiencing disappearing data - completes all the fields in the contact screen & then moves on to the activity. Sometimes when going back to the contact screen all previously entered data has disappeared.
Any ideas please?

I can appreciate that it must be really annoying to have to retype everything when this happens!
While Act does it's best to save data 'on the fly', we do generally recommend hitting the 'save record' icon before moving on to another part of the program, or opening any other windows. This type of issue can be compounded if you have 'required' fields that must be filled in before saving, as Act! can't save the record without data in this field.
Let us know if this issue persists even after clicking the save icon, as this could indicate a more serious problem!

A very similar problem with a client only 2 weeks ago was traced to new Required Field. Sometime ago another similar problem was someone putting wrong formatted information into a calc field. Just mentioning in case it helps fault finding.

I love quick keys and you might like to use "Ctrl S" for a quick save. Sometimes easier than finding and clicking the Save icon!
