I just imported 500 Contacts from Excel into ACT. The only problem is, I was supposed to enter them into a Group!!! How can I separate them from the other 2000 Contacts I have in ACT and then put them into a Group???

First go back to your excel file and add a field. Give every contact in the field the same group name.
All the imported contacts in Act! will have been assigned a 'create date'. Use the Lookup> Advanced>Advanced query to search all contacts created on the day you imported them.
You can then delete them, then re-import the excel file, being sure to map the group field.

If you are using Act 2012 you should be able to do this via an advanced query.
Lookup > Advanced > Advanced query
You'll need two lines in here
Contact > Is imported > Equal to > true
Contact > Create Date > Equal to > "Date you imported the records"
