Contact Access Level

Is there a way to find all records that a user/team does not have access to? For instance we have 2 teams - Support and Sales. Presently I want all records to be accessible by both the Support and Sales teams but Support has access to 250 and Sales has access to only 230. How do I find these records that the Sales team does not have access to.

FYI - We do have a good reason why we want two seperate teams for Support and Sales. We plan to have outside Sales teams in the future whose records the Sales team will not have access to, but the Support team will.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Contact Access Level

One way is to lookup all the records belonging to one user/team and place a flag in an unused field, then lookup the other and flag a separate unused field. Then lookup all the records that have one but not the other.

Re: Contact Access Level

Log on as the user with 230 records. Choose an empty field such as User 5. From the menu bar Using Edit | Replace put a character in all records. Log off and log back on as the user who has access to 250 records. Right cllick on User 5 and choose Lookup. Select 'Does Not Contain Data'. Run the Lookup. That lookup that results is all records not accessible by the 230 record user.
