Complicated licensing question

I need some help with a licensing situation...

My company has two separate installations of ACT 2008 premium (two branch offices in different countries).

One employee is now moving from one office to the other. He has ACT installed, but I assume his installation wont work on the other database.

So I purchased a new license. But now that I think of it, maybe his license can be transferred?

If not, what is the best way of adding the new license? Do I need to reinstall ACT on his computer and register with the new license key?

Help please. Smiley Happy

Re: Complicated licensing question

The license in his installed version of ACT! would get added to the 2nd database when he logs into it

Re: Complicated licensing question

If ACT! is already installed, go to the Help menu | Register ACT! and add the serial number there.

Re: Complicated licensing question

Ok... So I think I have misunderstood then how the licensing process works.

It's not my server with the ACT database that keeps track of the licenses, it's the server at Sage that you register with during installation?

If that is true, he should be able to keep his current license?
