We organize a lot of our database by company, rather by client. If I link an opportunity to a Company, but not to a specific Contact within that company, the Company name does not appear in the Opportunity list view, or in any reports.
Additionally, when I open the Opportunity list view frequently I only see a small fraction of our current opportunities. All the sort/filter fields are set to "All". The only way to get the full listing is click on "Select Users", then "Ok". I already have "All Users" selected, but it's not until I go through this process that they show up.

Has this ever been addressed? I have a client with the same need - regarding the Company not appearing in Opportunity List views & reports, despite the field choice on the list view. Thanks.

Opportunities must be connected to a contact to show in an of the ACT! reports. That is actually how it is designed.
