When I'm making a new field in ACT! Premium 2012 Version 14.1.108.0 I get the following error message:
Can some tell me what the problem is?

Exactly what it says. In the database all the tables use the same Phone table so regardless of which table (contact, company, etc.) that you try to add a phone type field to it goes to the same Phone table and all entries to that table must have unique names.
