Any 3rd party can help on Reserve/Booking the resources (Ballroom 1, Ballroom 2, ..)
At this moment, act only show you the Ballroom 1 is reserved when tick on the resources . It did not show what other resources are available.

The avaibility (can't find "check availability") only show the units we choose is reserved or available. It did not show other units which is available.
Conference Room 1 and Conference Room 2.
Reserve Conference Room 1 for Customer A
When we try to reserve the Conference Room 1 for customer B, the avaibility only show the Conference Room 1 is reserved. It should also list down conference room 2 is available. It will be very tedious to choose First and know later. TQ for your advise.

Look closer at the availabilty tab, There is a button Users/Resources that allows you to to add all of the resources you have defined to the grid.

Note sure if our ACT add-on will help but it does display the calendar in a per column mode for all resources. Here's a screen shot:
