While importing from an Excel spreadsheet, I chose custom merge so I could confirm each match. Upon finding a duplicate in the very first record being imported, I chose to "skip" rather than create new contact or merge the information. Instead of going to the next duplicate found, it just terminated the import. Any ideas why?

I have tested and reproduced this same effect, and have submitted it to the Development team for investigation. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

Has this bug been fixed, yet? It's a pretty serious problem, since we can't effectively import contacts without duplication if we can't skip records during the import process. Otherwise, it's a manual process.

I have tested this in the latest version - Act! Premium Version 16.0.291.0, Hot Fix 4... this still seems to be an issue.

That is a serious flaw in the program. It's not just a missing feature, but a feature that exists and doesn't work. How do you escalate an issue like this?

It's been almost two years since you acknowledged this was a problem, and it's still not fixed. I have updated to Act! Premium Version 18.104.22.168, and just ran a test merge, and "skip" terminates the merge process. Can you please tell me when this will be fixed? It's a real problem and renders the merging wizard completely useless.
