So I've addred the record manager field to my contact form so it is diplayed when looking at the contact. I then do a search by area code to select contacts that I want to move to another ACT user in my database and go to Edit and Replace but record manager is still not an open to change.
What am I doing wrong?

Question: Who will be the new Record Manager is a User Created in the Database?

yes another active user in my database. All contacts are set private for each user. I have 14 users now

Two additional questions:
1. What version of ACT! You? (Help Menu - About ACT!) Example: Sage ACT! Premium 2012 Version 14.1.108.0
2. If the contacts are private for each user ... Would this a problem in the time of the Replace Function?
Best Regards,

You'll have to log in as each user and change the private to limited access first.
It's possible that you'll have to change them to public first and then change the record manager, and then change to limited access if necessary.

I am having the same problem... I cannot chage the record manger in Mass from a company lookup.
Sage ACT! Premium 2012 Version 14.1.108.0
All the records are set to public and all the users are active.
Any ideas?
Thanks Eric

Hi Eric
The bad news is that Edit Replace Record Manager was not a feature of your version but is in the latest version ACT V16.
