Change Order of Activty Types?

I am using ACT!v16 Premium on a Windows 7 computer with a shared database on the server.    I have added some custom activity types and would like one of those to be the default when I click the history button to add the activity to a contact.  Currently the system Activity "Appointment" is the default.  I cannot delete or edit that activity so I tried creating one that with an * in front to hopefully put it at the top of the list.  That did not work.  Is there another way to go about this?  Thank you for any help you can offer!

What you need is the free addon (History Window Fix _ http://www.exponenciel.com/actaddons/actaddon.aspx?ID=132 ) from Exponenciel http://www.exponenciel.com

I install it as standard for all my clients.

Re: Change Order of Activty Types?

Check out this addon to create histories with one click.

The History Buttons Act! add-on adds new buttons on the history tab page. These button quickly record a history for the current contact using one click.

Some example usage could be when you are doing cold-calling and need to record a history event that you left a message. This record history event can be set up to take only one button click.
