Hi everything was working fine last week and has been for 12 months then last week the ISA server lost all its settings and I have had to reset the firewall settings. The problem is now that I cannot connect to the databases remotely but can access the database from the server, so I know sql server is working. I am sure there must be some ports being blocked but as Im not an ACT expert I am not sure what these are. This is driving me crazy now and would greatly appreciate any help you guys could give me. Thanks in advance.
ACT 2008 premium
ISA Server 2004
Server 2003 SBS
should I be able to connect to the ACT instance without username and password?
What are the best tools to troubleshoot and diagnose these connection issues?

This resolves 99/100 of these errors in my experience.
