Cannot sync, all of a sudden, don't know why

Using ACT! by Sage Premium 2008 (10.0) (EX Edition) Version on top of XPPro with SP2 up to date.


Sync Log contains this Message: "Synchronization has failed. .RDB has already been recreated. Please restore the recreated copy." 


Please help.  Thank you.

This would seem to indicate that your .RBD (remote database) has been recreated from the main (publisher) database.  If this is the case, then you would need to restore that recreated .rdb to your machine.


It may also indicate that your remote database may be damaged, in which case you can run repairs and rebuilds from ACT! Diagnostics, per the following Knowledgebase article:

In addition, it is strongly advised that you update the server and all ACT! users to the 10.0.3 build of ACT! 2008.  There were a number of significant improvements with this update, especially in the area of synchronization.  You can obtain the update by folowing the steps in this Knowledgebase article:

ALL users must do this update, starting with server, in order to properly access and synchronize with the main database
