Cannot open database after renaming top level folder

My version -- Sage ACT! Premium 2011 Version 13.0.401.0, Hot Fix 2

I cannot open Act since I renamed the top level folder under which Act resided.

The folder structure was

Toplevelfolder

   ACTfolder

I renamed Toplevelfolder to Toplevel.

I deleted the .pad that resided under ACTfolder and tried to open the .adt file assuming the .pad will be recreated.

Now, I get the message “Database Vaxainc2010 already exists. Choose a different database name.”

Can someone help?

Thanks

Re: Cannot open database after renaming top level folder

Thank you.

I detached - but the "status" reads "RECOVERY_PENDING".

Anything further can be done?

Thanks.

Re: Cannot open database after renaming top level folder

You might try renaming the folder back to the way it was ... rebooting, then see if you can detach
