Cannot edit date fields

Hi,

we are using ACT! Premium 2008 (10.0).

After converting a database from version 6.0 some date fields cannot be edited anymore.

e.g. the field "Last Email" is greyed out. It displays the information correctly, but I cannot edit this field.

This field is also not showing up in the "create field" window (-> system field ?).

Do you have any ideas what could be wrong here?

thanks in advance

bang

Re: Cannot edit date fields

There are several fields that you will not be able to edit.  They are populated by actions taken within the database.

Some of these fields are:

- Last Email

- Last Reach

- Last Attempt

- Last Results

- Last Meeting

As you perform functions such as sending an email or clearing an activity it will create a History record that then updates these fields.

Re: Cannot edit date fields

ah ok, thanks for the info!

But that leads me to another question...

If I am importing a database then there is e.g. no mapping for "Last Email". The field is not showing up in the mapping-window of the import wizard.

Does that mean the Last Email-Field is not imported at all or is the Last Email-Field mapped correctly in the background?
