When I view my calendar on the Premium Web Version and click on the drop down menu for Types, I can barely see that the drop down menu has been opened, but I can't access the boxes to check/uncheck. They are hidden beneath the calendar it looks like.
This happens in all views (daily, weekly, monthly).
I have attached a screenshot.

Could you try using Internet Explorer 11 and test this dropdown?
When using IE11, make sure you have the site added to compatibility view.
This issue has been resolved in Act v18
