Cannot Open Act 16 Help

I remember seeing a post that said we had to change some settings, perhaps in IE, in order to view the contents of Act 16 help. When I click on it, nothing loads; just empty shell. Can anyone help?

You hit the F12 key. Then at the bottom, change 'Document Mode' to 10. It should sho then

Thanks for the original post and to cclark for an answer.  Had the same issue so wanted to add the following info to share our experiece.

  • Pressed F12
  • got HTML window
  • could not find anything that said "document mode"
  • on menu icon that looks like monitor/computer (menu bar), found like-settings and changed to "10"
  • result was web help showing on IE screen.
  • Also got debugging windows
  • cycled thru debug windows and could use the ACT webhelp
  • setting does not seem to stay in place as each subsequent selection of Help does not start a web session

 

Hoping others catch this thread and have additional insights for us.
