One of our employees can't get into ACT anymore (error message below). I have the 2008 disk but we are using 2011 Premium. I can only assume 2011 Premium was downloaded (I have the reg. #). I tried to download from IE but it won't let me.
Below is a small piece of the error message:

Spitney,
Welcome to the Act! Community Forum!
That error message (In short) says Resolution of the Dependency failed. There are many things that can cause this. Usually a resolution failure is caused by a corrupted preference file. I would start off by clearing the preferences for that user, on his computer.
The following KB article will detail the steps required to attempt this fix:

Try this article, and let me know what happens.

Billy,
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the individual uninstalled ACT from his computer. I can't reinstall because I believe the current version of ACT was downloaded a few years ago and that was before I was here. I have the serial number. Any suggestions on how to reinstall? I do have the 2008 ACT disk.

Never mind. I got ACT back up and working on employee's pc! I was pulling my hair out and then decided to copy the ACT folder from my pc onto a flash drive. Copied the folder from the flash to the other pc. To my amazement it worked!
