Can't import into ACT Premium 2012

I have upgraded my office to ACT Premium 2012 (Version 14.1.108.0) in hopes that Import/Export would work properly...

Well, I cant even get this simple csv file to import, even tried it as an Excel file. I followed all the recommended procedures when importing:

"First","Last","Address","City","St","Zip","Region","Email"
"Bugs","Bunny","123 Maple","New York","NY","12345","East Coast","bb@123.com"

Sadly, the import is still really flaky ...

But, how is it not working for you? Standard contact imports should be fine

If the coding included in your post is identical to your file, try changing "First" to "First Name", and "Last" to "Last Name".

Re: Can't import into ACT Premium 2012

Well, I got it to work...I fiddled with the permissions between the Client machine (running ACT doing the Import) and the Server hosting the ACT db. Even though the client was able to open the ACT db and  perform all functions, it was a permissions problem when doing the Import.

So now the Excel and csv imports work fine.

It would be nice if the import control/dll would give some indication of this when performing the import.
