We've got two databases. Importing is working fine in one of them. In the other it has just stopped (worked the other week). Trying to do an import from CSV and no records enter. The records I'm trying to import are all new (not matching the duplicate checking settings). The matching options in the import are set to: if records don't match: "add"

Yep. This is pretty much how I feel every time I have an ACT problem. Very alone!
We just got budget to move to MS CRM. We still have the old ACT box around here somewhere. The entire office is really looking forward to a nice funeral pyre for it.

Try eliminating special characters from your CSV. Don't worry about the email column if you have emails.
