Pretty self explanatory, but can I create a fields default value that is different depending on who is signed in at the time? For example, if we need to keep track of the Office/Branch a Contact is associated with, can we have it default to that branch if the user who created it works in that branch? I think this is separate from using team based permission.

With the standard, you can only set defaults for all users.
i did ask our development, it should be possible via an Addon, maybe some of the addon-companys have a solution, if not let me know and we will be happy to look into it

I don't think that's quite what I need either. I just want a field to hold a default value based off the record creator. I looked into Auto Fill Fields from ADS, but was told by their developer that it cannot use the Record Creator field as a trigger either. I think this one may require some custom development.
