I have Act premium 2008 and on certain contacts the information for a call or appointment will be blank until i highlight the appointment. Then all the info appears. This occurs on both the calander as well as the activities tab in the contact file.

Around how many activities do you have scheduled for one of these contacts? I'm suspecting there are a large amount of cleared and uncleared activities that is causing this issue. As as test you can backup your database and perform a restore as. Within the new restored database, purge data older than 60 days and test. You can also try running database maintenance from actdiag.
