Browser Freezes After Saving a Sage ACT! Word Processor Template on Local Machine

 

I found this search topic when searching for a solution to the same problem.  I am very confussed by the answer.

 

It says:

Status: Closed. No plan to fix.

So we have a KNOWN software problem, but Swiftpage says "No plan to fix".  Wow.  I hope Swiftpage reconsiders.  I could really use a fix.
 
Steps to Reproduce
  1. IE 10 on Windows 7
  2. Download/install Word Processor components
  3. Log to a db via Web client
  4. Set default word editor to ACT! Word Processor
  5. Open Other Template
  6. Click Save
  7. On Save ACT! Template, select this computer and save
  8. Attempt to open the template

Actual Result:
  • The template is being save properly, but afterwards the browser becomes un-responsive.
  • User has to use End Task to close the browser.
