Blank Screen Following Log In (Act! Premium For Web Version 12.0.0.401)

We have a Windows XP Web server running Act! Premium For Web Version 12.0.0.401.

 

Up until recently, a user on XP Pro could use Act! fine, but now as soon as they log in, they get a blank screen and their contacts page does not load.

 

I can access the program from my home with XP Pro with no problem.

 

A thorough Malware/virus check has been done. The same thing happens on IE and Safari.

 

Any ideas?

Sorry for the late reply but I ran into your post as I was troubleshooting this problem recently for one of my clients and notice there was no resolution here.

 

Their problem was that a "reserved character" was being used in the "contact name" of the ACT! user.

 

For instance:

 

Steve Stroz\

 

instead of

 

Steve Stroz

 

Once the "reserved character" was removed everything functioned normally.

 

I'm sure you've resolved this by now but I'm posting in hopes of helping someone down the line.
