Complete Backup of a 2010 Act Premium database and restore same to an Act 2011 Premium database on a system with a different name.
Restore exits because destination system name is different than source system name. Please advise. Thanks.

When you choose File, Restore, Database, you will see three options, you want the second one Restore as. This option allows you to restore to a different machine.

I used ACT! Premium 2011 to restore an ACT! Premium 2009 backup file, it changed the "Date Modified" field of all attachments to the date restored. Can you please tell me how to keep the original dates?
I know ACT! Premium 2009 restore function keeps the original dates. Why did they change that?
