Attach emails in History

I hjave Windows7 Ult and ACT prem 2011

In ACT History tab I have chosen
All Dates

but the  "Types" does not work, scrolling down I see All and None, but cannot make such choise,Types remain blank.

Right from Types Tab I see Users with a person/key icon, but that does not work

(I am the only user with ACT.)

How to attach an email from Outlook 2010 inBox into the History??

Re: Attach emails in History

Hello William,

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. It looks like you have two questions here:

How to attach emails in your Outlook inbox to ACT!

You would highlight the message or messages and either click "Attach to ACT! Contact" (single message) or "Quick Attach" (multiple messages) from the Outlook toolbar.

Types and select Contacts not working under History tab

There could be a couple of causes for this:

- DPI setting too high - your DPI setting needs to be 96. Please see KB Article 26349 for instructions to adjust the DPI setting

- Damaged ACT! preferences file - please see the manual (alternate) method for rebuilding preferences in the bottom half of KB Article 14770.

Re: Attach emails in History

Thanks Greig,

Upon advice of my local ACT seller, he suggested to download the latest version of ACT prem ,then to

do the SP1, and then the latest hotfix.

And indeed that was the truck. Also the "Types"matter is solved by above.

Thanks for your help anyway!
