Applying ACT! 2011 SP1 HF3 has stopped Outlook integration working!

Has anyone else found this and/or know a solution please.

Tried the usual things without success.

Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions.

 

FIXED IT !! Reinstalled Outlook and all seems to be well again.

Can you describe what has stopped working?

- address book

- recording history

- contact sync

- calendar sync

- other...

 

What version of Outlook are you running?

What is the operating system?

It's Outlook 2003 SP3
Windows XP SP3
Address book looks ok.
It won't record History - neither Email sent nor Email auto-attached.
Not using Contact or Calendar sync.

Hope that helps. Is it similar to the problem with SP1 although I've got the Wow6432Node renamed to Wow6432NodeOLD that worked to fix SP1 Outlook integration problem.

We had a customer with the same issue.  We ended up un/re installing both Outlook and ACT!, and that fixed it.

 

Wish I had a quicker/easier solution than that for you.

No response from Sage moderator suggests they don't have an answer.

I'm not sure how to just uninstall Outlook without the whole of Office 2003 Pro. Any ideas appreciated please.

I've been unable to reproduce this issue.

 

Did you check to ensure the Act.outlook.service.exe is running?

I had the same problem with a similar setup (except my Outlook was SP2).  Had to reinstall ACT and update Outlook.  I am a new ACT user, but have had an incredible amount of troubles with the Outlook integration intermittently working despite 6+ tech support sessions.

I uninstalled the whole office suite.

 

You could always try a detect and repair of office before you start looking for your office CD.
