We just upgraded to ACT 2011 and when I am creating a pdf thru ACT (any reports or notes) it does not prompt me to give a filename and save it someplace specific. It creates and saves (not sure where) this is an issue for me, I am sure there is an easy fix as it did not do this before.

Have you ever found your way out? I have some tutorials about how to get PDF editing started. But I am not using Adobe's products. I hope you success. Good luck.
