I am an ACT novice trying to learn how to fulling utilize the program. In the process we are upgrading our data base. I would like to add the county location to our database. I created a user field and am using zipcodes to update. The way I'm doing it involves a lot of click/paste. Is there a way to enter the zip code, get the list and add the county to all those listed at one time?

First I would use the Advanced Query function to get your lookup. This could then be made into a group so you would not even need the County field. However it is a good idea to have it for visability so once you have the lookup you would then use the Edit Replace function to "stuff" in the County name into your field.
It is ALWAYS a good idea to do a back up before using Edit Replace.
