Activities on task list have disappeared (yes, I checked the filters)

We have 2007 premuim for work groups (Version 9.0.1.162) with ~ 12 active users on our network. A couple of days ago, my employee was working on her task list and, with a task open, changed the date on a task from recurring to having a finite end date. Her ACT! program froze and she clicked on "end program". When she reopened ACT!, everything was fine except ALL of her tasks were gone. She restarted her computer, I have tried check and repair, I have reindexed the database, I have run Actdiag and I have cleared old cleared activities from the database, all to no avail. I have tried pulling her tasks up on other computers- nothing. I did notice that her ACT! does NOT have Hotfix on it. Could this be the source of the problem? I upgraded her computer a couple of weeks ago and neglected to install Hotfix at the time.

As I mentioned in my post,


1) Yes, there are 12 users
2) no, I am not able to see the activities as any other user
3) yes, I definitely have checked all of the filters (see title of posting)


I finally ended up calling support, whereupon a very nice gentleman, Keith
Spence, ran a fix activities on my database. I had done this previously, but
not at the server, which is why it hadn't worked. So, that was the problem-
there was some problem with the activities on the database, he ran the fix and
now my activities are back. In case this happens to anyone else, see answer ID 19642
on the knowledgebase and make sure that you run the fix AT the actual server.

The hotfix shouldn't matter.  Is this a multi user database?  If it is, are other users able to see the activities?  Have you verified that the filters are correct (specifically select users filter).
