ACT! by Sage Premium 2010 Version 126.96.36.199, Hot Fix 1
A user was using ACT email fine for a year, then we started getting the error
ActEmail MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
after doing small mail merges of about 500. We are unable to setup the email at all now.

A further update on my issue
I can merge in to word and excel just not email that includes mail merge to email and single email
I have checked the Act Outlook addin is working fine and Act Outlook services is running, so i am at a total loss why i can not email any more and why that error message appears

Ok thought i would go into the email set up part of the Preferences and bang got a large error message part of which is
Unable to cast COM object of type
.....blah blah blah....
The RPC server is unavailable.

I got the same ACTemail error during mail merge. I have 200 contacts in mail merge, but ACTemail sent only for ~150 and the it stop working with error message "ACTEmail MFC Apllication is stop working."
The application name is ACTEmail.
The application version is 188.8.131.52.
The application timestamp is 4b5803c1
Please help with solution.

|When attempting to do a mail merge with Microsoft Word set as the word processor, you receive the following error: "ACT! Email MFC Application has stopped working."|
|You can attempt to workaround this issue by stopping the Print Spooler service. This can be accomplished one of two ways:
Stop Print Spooler from the Control Panel
