When are you getting this error? What is your operating system? When did this error start occuring?

Act! v17 and above are the only certified and supported versions of Act! to work with Windows 10 and previous versions of Act! may have issues that cannot be resolved. Below I have included the link to the Knowledgebase article that will provide more information about Act! and Windows 10:

This is the problem I have had all along with Act since 2009. They don't update recent versions and so you are always forced to buy a new one. This just happened to me when I bought new PC with windows 8 my Act wouldn't work and so I needed to upgrade to vs 16.
