Act v 18 timing out

Act v 18 timing out

It appears there was an upgrade to ACT v18 over the weekend of March 19/20. We are now having issues access it through Explorer 9 and when we do log in using Google Chrome we are having issues with ACT timing out. Anyone else having the same issues?

Hi third,

 

Act v18 is only compatible with Internet Explorer 11, and the other browsers listed below. I would strongly suggest upgrading to IE11.

Regarding the time out issue in Chrome, please could you try pressing CTRL + SHIFT + R and trying again. If the issue persists, please try clearing Chrome cookies and cache. More info: http://kb.act.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/38281

Please can you also post the exact error message you receive when Act times out.
