Act premium install

I have this error message at the beginning of the installation process : failed to read install.ini any ideas ?

OS: Vista family

That doesn't mean that the local folder that you copied to has read access.  If you right click on it, check to see if you have Read / Write ability to its location.

If you are installing from a CD, can you simply copy the content of the CD to the local machine, then attempt the install again?  Please post your results.

Thank for your answer and this is what i did because my laptop haven't got a cd player.

I think that your copy may be incomplete based on your response.

 

Can you copy the entire CD media to a location you created such as c:\TESTACT ?

 

Also, when launching the setup routine, simply right mouse click and launch the process using the "Run as Administrator" option.

Does the location in which you copied the files to have the Read / Write access?
