Hi gurus, I have the trial version of Act! 2011 installed but it will not allow me to either create a new DB nor open the .pad file (demo file).
My installation is on a 64-bit version of Windows 7 running 32-bit MSSQL 2008 R2 and .NET 3.5 and 4.0. All MS components are fully patched. My SQL services have started correctly.
Any guidance or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Act launches, but immediately displays:
The second possibly related symptom is when I try and open the .pad file it simply says that Act cannot continue.
My next steps are to uninstall Act, verify the DB, and attempt to reinstall.
Are there any logs that offer insight into the issue?
