I purchase Act 9.0 for workgroups a year and a half ago after I was told I needed that if I wanted to share my database. I was just reading that I only need act for workgroups if there are 10+ users, and I only have 2 users (looking to add a 3rd). I was wondering if I need the new (3rd) liscense to be Act for Workgroups or I can get the regular one.
Also would I be able to upgrade from Act 9.0 for Workgroups to Act 10 (or 11) regular (not for workgroups) without losing my data, since it appears I do not need the workgroup functionality.
What does act for workgroups do different then the regular verision if I have less than 10 users?
Thanks

Ok, it appears that I do not need Premium as I was originally told.
Will I be able to easilly migrate my Act 9.0 for Workgroups database over to Act 9.0 regular?

All the licenses need to be the same... you can't mix Premium and non-Premium versions.
You can Save_As a Premium database to a standard version.
