First, I am not a Computer Programer or developer. Just an ACT user. Our company is having a Dynamic website built in PHP or Zend Frmework I guess, anyhow. What I remember is that the website will need a Database to pull data from. We are currently entering all the data regarding properties and locations and other specifics in SAGE ACT.
So my question is, if SAGE ACT is a SQL DB, can it be connected directly to our website. So that when we update a property or add a property in ACT it will automatically be available thru our website.
Does ACT DB connect or work with PHP, ZEND, Cold Fusion

You could use the Act Reader utility to create a read only ODBC connection between your website and ACT. You would then be able to read you data (not write back to ACT) via some of these tools.
Here is a link to the KB on teh ACT Reader Utility (Link Here)

Here's a white page paper on the various data access methods to act, it does a far better job explaining how to acces your Sage Act data outside the application than I'm capable of.
Hope this helps and if you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask.
