Act email broken

I cannot send Outlook 2007 emails from Act 2010. I get the everpresent "object reference not set to an instance of an object" error, that Sage uses to blame MS for not integrating with their product. Windows records a failure in an Act component. The error message is below. Does anyone at Sage have a clue how this works, and why I cannot do this?
