Act! Premium v17 - database keeps unsharing itself

Running ACT! Premium v17 on a Windows 10 Surface Pro and the database is on a Windows 2012 Server.  The database will randomly become unshared. I  open ACT on the server and click "Share" and it works again.    I created "Test" database as a reference and so far it stays shared.  What could cause one database to lose its share setting and another keep it on the same server?

I did a "restore as" to a new DB using a current backup and so far the DB is staying shared.

Hi Hancke,

We've seen Windows updates causing this before, but that normally affects all databases, not just one. It's due to windows restarting the SQL service during the update.
Do you have any automated backup software outside of Act?
Is UAC switched off?

Hi ! Can you also check if you are logged in as admin! And if the folder containing the database has full permission??

What is the windows os and is it a domain machine or workgroup??
