JagStyles, did you find that this produced better results than using Durkin DPI Fixer (in combination with disabling the display scaling)?

Much better solution/work-around than the Durkin Add-In. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

Yes. The Act!.exe was signed by Swiftpage. Basically that means that Swiftpage guarantees the authenticity of the Act!.exe program. When a program is signed the program is processed by an algorithm and if any byte in the program changes then the signature fails. That is to keep a program from being accepted after it has been infected by a virus. Basically to make this fix official Swiftpage will need to apply the fix and then resign the executable. Hopefully it won't take them too long to do that. In the meantime most people will be able to use the program. Only systems that check for a valid signature will fail.

I can confirm that the file is digitally signed but it can be easily unsigned.
Download the following program,
Copy act!.exe to the came folder.
Drag act!.exe on top of the program and it is will take out the digital signing.
Rename the original act!.exe.
Copy the new act!.exe to the ACT folder.

Hi Gary
Please could you pass this on to the design team and if approved ask for an urgent hot-fix.
Thanks
