Act Crashes Outlook When a Calendar Alert is Clicked

Happens in two different computers. Both running XP SP 3 with all updates. Just upgraded Act 2010 to the latest version. Here's how it goes:

Calendar reminders pop up (Outlook)

User clicks one item from the pop up

Outlook freezes.

running outlook in safe mode resolves the issue as it actually severs the connection between Outlook and Act. So it has something to do with the Addin, but what?

this has been most frustrating.

Question:

Which Office Version do you work?

Did you try again the wizard  to integrate with Outlook from ACT! ??

Good luck Smiley Wink

Office 2007. Yeap tried all wizards. What I didnt' try is removing Act and installing it again, which I am going to do right now because I truly am sick of this nuisance. This shouldn't be that hard, really Smiley Sad

This is due to an antivirus plugin.  There's a knowledge base article outlining this for Kapersky, but I had the issue using AVG Business.  I had to go into the registry and change the add-in of AVG load behavior to 0 instead of 3.
