Act Cloud Standard User Company linking issue

I have a new customer with 6x Cloud licences  ( upgraded from Act Premium) and uses linking contact to Companies all the time. Their data is sensitive and they do not want users have the ability to export or delete records

 

 Problem with Cloud - Standard User cannot unlink and re-link a contact to a new company unless they are the Record Manager.

 

Manager User can but then they can Delete Records and Export to Excel which the customer does not want to give them access to do’

 

The Administrator will have to unlink all of these contacts which would massively increase their workload.

 

Is there a workaround and/or is this a know defect? If so when will it be fixed?

This is working as designed as Standard users can only manage their own data. from the article below it does mention this:

15284 Security Roles in Act! - *Standard users can only link Contacts to Companies when they are Record Manager for the contact.

 

An option maybe to use the automatic company creation option I would recommend reading this article regarding it first and it would be something that we would need to do as it can only be enabled via desktop or server client

This is working as designed as Standard users can only manage their own data. from the article below it does mention this:
