We attempt to Sync Outlook and ACT. We receive a failure on the Outlook sync. If we individually sync the components, only the Calendar syncs successfully.Below is the error message from the event log. We confirmed the ACT! Scheduler is running under services. User is administrator on the PC.

Hi,
why are you trying to syncronise to outlook?
what version of office are you using (32bit or 64 bit)

We would like all of our Contacts to be poopulated into the database. The version of Office is 32bit

Make sure that Outlook is not set to run as administrator. That can make this not work. Seems odd, but true.

Hi Patricia,
Thanks for the response. We checked and confirmed that Outlook is not running as Admin. We restarted the laptop and relaunched Outlook to try from clean run, but still a failure with the same error in event viewer.

Hi,
so you want the outlook contacts in ACT? in that case i would recomend to export the contacts in outlook, and then import them in ACT via the File|import feature.
